Peer-Review
All articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal "Technosphere safety" are reviewed, and materials prepared in strict accordance with the rules established by the editorial Board for authors are allowed to be reviewed.
The order of reviewing articles
1. The editorial Board within 7 days notifies the authors of the receipt of the article and its direction for review.
2. The reviewer is selected from the members of the editorial Board or leading experts on the profile of the proposed work.
3. Terms of reviewing in each case are determined by the issuing editor, taking into account the most rapid publication of the article.
4. The review highlights the following issues:
- correspondence of the content of the article to the topic stated in its title, as well as to the profile of the journal;
- relevance of work (compliance with the priority scientific directions and modern achievements in the field of fire safety);
- scientific novelty (originality of solving the tasks of research);
- expediency of the article publication taking into account the coverage of this issue in the existing literature;
- consistency and coherence of the presentation, visibility of tables, charts, figures, correctness of formulas;
- evaluation of the rigor and unambiguity of conclusions, their adequacy to the main provisions of the article, the theoretical and practical significance of the material;
- quality of registration (compliance to requirements of edition);
- advantages and disadvantages of the article, as well as recommended corrections and additions.
5. The reviewer gives an opinion on the possibility of publication of the article: "recommended", "recommended after correcting the shortcomings noted by the reviewer" or "not recommended".
6. According to the results of the review, the editorial Board decides on the publication (rejection) of the article, which informs the authors.
7. The article, which requires revision taking into account the reviewer's comments, is sent to the author. Term of corrections — no more than one month.
8. The corrected article is sent for re-review.
9. The article, not recommended by the reviewer for publication, is not accepted for re-consideration. The text of the negative review is sent to the author by e-mail, Fax or regular mail.
10. The presence of a positive review submitted by the authors of the article is not a sufficient basis for its publication. The final decision on the appropriateness of the publication is made by the editors.
11. Original reviews are stored in the editorial office of the scientific electronic journal "Technosphere safety" for five years.
12. The Editorial Board confirms the provision of permanent storage of published scientific articles, their availability, submission of mandatory copies of the publication in accordance with the established procedure.
13 The editorial board of the publication sends copies of licenses or a reasoned refusal to the authors of the submitted materials, and also undertakes to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation when the corresponding request is received by the editorial office of the publication.
